| dc.description.abstract | La vejez ha sido asimilada a la salud adulta mayor con harta dificultad, en especial puesto que la decrepitud y el horizonte infranqueable de la muerte y el único sustento de lo paliativo, se alza con una inevitabilidad que reduce el cuerpo viejo a la enfermedad incapacitante, estrechando el margen de maniobra vital socialmente considerado. Es así que la vejez entra en una sindrómica cada vez mayor que como gran dependiente viene sustentado por una ortopedia social sobre la que opera la institucionalidad biomédica. La subjetividad de la vejez sana es aquí una ontologización del Geronte mediante grandes síndromes y enfermedades como las demencias. Queda por explorar cuál es el espacio de vida cuando el cuerpo viejo dimite de sus funcionalidades sensorioperceptivas, motoras y cognitivas. | es_ES |

This narrows the possibilities of social support. Thus, old age is reduced to a disabling syndrome, supported by a social orthopedic on which biomedical institutions are established. The subjectivity of healthy old age is here an ontologization of Geronte.
