Sala de psicomotricidad para el fomento de la expresión corporal y la creatividad

A lo largo de la historia de la educación la psicomotricidad ha ido ocupando un lugar más distinguido en el currículum. Sin embargo, observamos que no ha sido del mismo modo en las escuelas, en la que permanece en muchos casos en segundo plano debido a que consideran a otras áreas como más importantes o significativas. No obstante, la importancia de un adecuado desarrollo psicomotriz es irrefutable y compartido por toda la comunidad educativa debido a que fomenta el desarrollo integral del alumno. Es por ello que el documento que se presenta pretende hacer una revisión sobre la Psicomotricidad en el aula de Educación Infantil haciendo hincapié en la expresión corporal y la creatividad para, a partir de ahí, reflexionar y desarrollar una propuesta novedosa en la que el aula de psicomotricidad se convierta en un espacio de aprendizaje, en un ambiente de acción. El objetivo que se persigue es analizar la importancia del movimiento en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje trabajando de forma que los niños disfruten, conozcan y generen conocimientos sobre sí mismos y su entorno, fomentando su expresión corporal y su creatividad.

Throughout the history of education, psychomotor skills have been acquiring a more distinguished place in the curriculum. However, we note that it has not been the same in schools, where it remains in many cases in the background because they consider other areas to be more important or significants. Although, the importance of proper psychomotor development is irrefutable and shared by the whole educational community because it encourages the integral development of the students. That is why the document that is introduced aims to make a review on Psychomotricity in the classroom of Early Childhood Education emphasizing body expression and creativity to, from there, reflect and develop a novel proposal in which the psychomotor classroom becomes a learning space, an environment of action. The objective is to analyze the importance of the movement during the teachinglearning process by working in a way by which children enjoy, know and generate knowledge about themselves and their environment, encouraging their body expression and creativity.
