Funciones ejecutivas y desarrollo de la autonomía infantil (0-3 años)

Las funciones ejecutivas son habilidades cognitivas para adaptarse al entorno logrando metas y objetivos. Estas habilidades pueden ser calientes, las cuales se refieren a habilidades de autocontrol utilizadas en situaciones donde las emociones están presentes o frías, estas últimas se relacionan con el control cognitivo. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es describir las funciones ejecutivas y la autonomía en los primeros tres años. Para llevar a cabo este estudio, se hace una comparación de dimensiones de desarrollo en mellizos, con el fin de describir las capacidades que poseen y en qué momento del desarrollo se encuentran. La propuesta de intervención tiene como finalidad favorecer las funciones ejecutivas y las dimensiones de desarrollo. La metodología empleada es la observación directa. Como conclusión, los mellizos no logran un idéntico proceso de desarrollo. Por otra parte, sus habilidades de funciones ejecutivas son mayores de lo esperado en edades tempranas.

Executive functions are cognitive skills to adapt to the environment by achieving goals and objectives. These skills can be hot, which refers to self-control, used in situations where emotions are present or either cold, the ones related with cognitive control. The main objective of this project is to develop the executive functions and autonomy in the first years of development. To carry the present study, a comparison of development dimensions in twins is made in order to analyze the capacities the peers might have and what stage of development they are at. The purpose of the proposal for intervention, is to carry out the executive functions, using the direct observation as the main methodology. To sum up, twins do not follow the same pattern of development and their Executive Function skills are higher than expected at early ages.
