| dc.description.abstract | La ocupación francesa acabaría con las instituciones forales en Navarra. A partir de 1810 y hasta 1814, se crearán en Navarra unos gobiernos militares dependientes directamente de los generales de Napoleón, neutralizando de estaforma, el proyecto afrancesado que desde Madrid trataba de imponer el rey José I. La colaboración de los navarros con estos gobiernos militares se limitaba a la participación de unos cuantos burócratas en los repartos de suministros y otras cargas que las instituciones francesas llevaban a cabo entre las poblaciones navarras. La Diputación legítima tuvo que huir de Pamplona y establecerse de manera itinerante en Ágreda, Tudela, Huesca y Arnedo, pero siempre estuvo en contacto con la Junta Central y después con la Regencia y su empeño fue expulsar a los franceses de Navarra. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | French occupation saw an end to "foral" institutions in Navarra. From 1810 to 1814 , military governments directly dependent on Napoleon’s generals were created in Navarra, thereby neutralising the Frenchified project which King José I was trying to impose from Madrid. Collaboration with these governments by the Navarran population was limited to the participation of a few bureaucrats in the distribution of supplies and other responsibilities which the French institutions performed in Navarran towns and villages. The legitimate Council had to flee Pamplona and set up on an itinerant basis in Ágreda, Tudela, Huesca and Arnedo, but was always in contact with the Central Council and later the Regency, its endeavour always being that of expelling the French from Navarra. | en |
