Abstract
This document presents the development of the SmartUPNApark project, an intelligent parking management system designed for the Public University of Navarre (UPNA). The memory outlines the structured process followed throughout the project, divided into analysis, design, and implementation phases. It addresses the problem of inefficient parking management by integrating IoT technologies, such as LoRa sensors, a real-time data platform, and a user-friendly mobile application, to improve parking efficiency, reduce user frustration, and support campus sustainability goals. The memory details the analysis phase, which focused on identifying user and administrator needs, studying existing smart parking systems, and evaluating technical feasibility. It then transitions to the design phase, where system architecture and user interfaces were planned and optimized for scalability. Finally, the implementation phase describes how the project was realized, from integrating hardware components to developing a cross-platform mobile application using React Native. SmartUPNApark demonstrates the transformative potential of smart technologies in campus management, laying the groundwork for more comprehensive smart campus solutions.
