| dc.description.abstract | En el presente artículo el autor situa la obra histórica de Arturo Campión en su contexto, la visión del mundo que nos ofrece en toda su obra esta basada en la historia. La actividad política de Campión no puede ser entendida sin analizar sus estudios sobre fuerismo e historia. El autor profundiza en dos aspectos primordiales para comprender la aportación de Campión. Por un lado, nos ofrece una imagen del Campión investigador y por otro desgrana las influencias intelectuales recibidas por el iruinseme en su formación como historiador. No podemos entender sus escritos sin conocer la influencia que la lectura de Herder, Ranke y Humboldt, entre otros, tuvo en su pensamiento e investigación histórica. El autor remarca que Campión realizó este trabajo sin dar la espalda al contexto histórico que le tocó vivir. | es_ES |

Eginkizun honetan, egileak bi funtsezko ezaugarri azpimarratzen ditu, alde batetik, Campion ikerlaria ulertzea eta bestetik historialariak jaso zituen eraginen ezagutzea. Herder, Ranke eta Humbolten irakurketak antzematen dira Campionen idazkietan. | dc.description.abstract | In this article the author places the historical work of Arturo Campion in context. The worldview offered in all his work is based on history. Campion’s political activity can not be understood without analyzing their studies on 'fuerismo' (regional laws and customary autonomy) and history. The author explores two key aspects to understand the contribution of Campion. On the one hand, he gives us a picture of Campion as an investigator and, on the other hand, he analyses other intellectual influences received during his training as a historian. We can not understand his writings without knowing the influence that reading Herder, Ranke and Humboldt, among others, had in his historical thinking and research. The author remarks that Campion did this work without giving back to the historical context in which he lived. | en |
