Migración desde una solución de red de servicios HFC a FTTH en el municipio del Valle de Aranguren

Este proyecto está diseñado para dar una posible solución para el desarrollo de una red FTTH en Mutilva. El principal objetivo es proveer unos servicios básicos al usuario final, entre los que se incluyen: una conexión a Internet y un servicio de TV. Para conseguir esto, será necesario explicar el estado actual de la red y, por tanto, la tecnología usada. Esta tecnología es conocida como HFC. Esto llevará a una manera de mejorar la red. La mejor elección para esta mejora sería el cambio a una red PON. Este tipo de red tiene un número de ventajas, incluyendo el uso total de fibra a lo largo de la red. La red no sólo se vuelve completamente pasiva sino que, también, puede dar un mejor uso de los recursos en ésta. El alcance del proyecto también explica una posible mejora de la red para futuros proyectos. El resultado final puede ser visto como una mejora de servicios en la red en un FTTH

This project is designed to give a possible solution for the development of an FTTH network in Mutilva. The main goal is to provide a basic set of services to the end-user, in which there are included: an Internet connection and a TV service. To achieve this, it will be required to explain the current state of the network and therefore the technology used. This technology is known as HFC. It will lead into a way to improve the network. The best choice for such an upgrade would be to change it into a PON network. This type of network has a number of advantages, including the overall use in fiber all along the network. The network not only becomes completely passive but, also, it can provide a far better use of the resources in it. The scope of the project also sets the seed for a possible upgrade for future projects. The final result can be seen as a standard upgrade of a network into an FTTH
