dc.description.abstractEsta investigación pretende comprobar si el alumnado aprende a argumentar o mejorar su argumentación utilizando para ello una selección de textos medievales. El objetivo de este trabajo comprende tres aspectos: 1) determinar si los cuentos medievales son la herramienta adecuada para instruir en la teoría argumentativa, 2) analizar si el alumnado ha adquirido los conocimientos necesarios para argumentar, así como identificar si conocen y dominan correctamente los componentes que conforman la argumentación y 3) contribuir a que el alumnado mejore su competencia argumentativa a la hora de emitir razonamientos. Esta investigación basada en tres fases (un pretest, una intervención didáctica y un postest) sigue una metodología cualitativa ya que los escritos realizados en el pretest y el postest, así como el análisis del texto literario se analizan con el programa ATLAS ti. De las conclusiones se deduce que los cuentos medievales pueden ser un buen soporte argumentativo pues la secuencia aplicada ha incrementado la capacidad de argumentar del alumnado. Se añade también que los conocimientos “teóricos” retenidos por los y las estudiantes no son suficientes, aunque esto no les ha impedido emplear mejor todos sus elementos.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThis research aims to verify if students learn to argue or improve their argumentation using a selection of medieval texts. The objective of this work comprises three aspects: 1) to determine whether medieval stories are suitable tool to instruct in argumentative theory, 2) to analize whether students have acquired the necessary knowledge to argue as well as the identification of whether they know and master correctly the component that compose the argumentation and 3) help the student to improve their argumentative competence by issuing reasoning. This research base on three phases (a pretest, a didactic intervention and a postest) follows a qualitative methodology since the writings made in the pretest and the postest as well as the análysis of the literary text are analyzed with the ATLAS ti program. From the conclusions it can be deduced that medieval tales can be a good argumentative support since the sequence applied has increased the students' ability to argue. It is also added that the "theoretical" knowledge retained by the students is not enough, although this has not prevented them from better using all its elements.en
