dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the current projects is the first introduction of the Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) software ANSYS Forte to the Public University of Navarra. ANSYS Forte is specializes in simulating processes for an internal combustion engines and it is divide in three components: Simulate, Monitor and Visualize, each options gives special access in order to the intention. The main goal for this final project is witting a guide for the use of ANSYS Forte Simulate. Because it is the beginning of the simulation process, where to set up and execute the model. Along the report it is explained the commands needed for the configuration of an engine in terms of mesh, chemistry data, geometry and model parameters. The present project involves different areas of engineering such as: mechanics, thermal engines, computing and designes_ES
