dc.description.abstractThe increasing public desire to reduce carbon emissions and transportantion dependency on petroleum products is driving public interest and policy to alternative fuel sources and design. Most of the automotive manufcturers are either currently producing or planning to produce Electric Vehicles (EV) or Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) to adrress this interest. The commercial use of electric vehicles offers several major benefits for sustainable mobilitiy.en
