Abstract
The aim of this works is to examine the possible changes in students’ attention, participation, concentration and academic results after several brief sessions of relaxation/meditation given at the beginning of each instruction. To observe the results obtained in the qualitative test carried out afterwards by 41 students and three teachers of the Salesianos secondary school, in order to check whether their perceptions point toward an improvement of the learning process after these sessions. My personal limitations of time and experience have not been an impediment for the positive results of this research. This way, we can conclude that something as basic as some relaxation and/or meditation exercises improve both the teaching context and the students’ attitude, which in turn encourages better learning opportunities.
