Diagnóstico y propuesta para trabajar en el museo de navarra desde la perspectiva de género

Abstract

Vivimos es una sociedad sexista, en la que mujeres y hombres no disfrutan de los mismos derechos y oportunidades. Este sexismo se reproduce en las instituciones culturales como los museos. Por ello en este trabajo se realiza un análisis del Museo de Navarra desde la perspectiva de género, prestando atención a las políticas de exposición que desarrolla y materiales educativos que ofrece. Tras este análisis, se concluye que este museo presenta deficiencias con respecto a la igualdad de género y en especial en los materiales educativos que ofrecen al público infantil. Por este motivo, también se analizan varios materiales educativos diseñados desde la perspectiva de género con el objetivo de conocer las tendencias y enfoques de interpretación que siguen, con vistas a crear una propuesta educativa basada en la igualdad, que permita crear ciudadanos que promuevan las mismas oportunidades entre hombres y mujeres.

Nowadays we live in a sexist society where women and men do not enjoy the same rights and opportunities. That problem, sexism, is alive in different institutions such as museums. Therefore, we are doing an analysis about the Navarre museum in this project. As far as equality is concerned, we focus our attention on gender perspectives, giving special emphasis to the politics exhibition and the didactic materials that this museum offers. As a matter of fact, we can conclude after this analysis, that this museum has failures according to gender equality and even more in the didactic materials which are offered to the infant public. For that reason, we analyze some designed materials taking into account this gender pespective, which is crucial and very important in the society we live in. The aim of this analysis is to know new trends and interpretation approaches, focusing our attention on creating a didactic proposal based on equality. This will allow creating a society with conscious inhabitants that will promote the same oopotunities between women and men.
