Abstract
This bachelor thesis presents the design of a large-scale photovoltaic plant, with a nominal power of several MW. During this work, we present the components selection, as well as the sizing calculations. We will design a dq0 control loop for both voltage and current control. After the plant design, a simulation analysis based on Simulink is carried out to verify that the operation of the plant is correct and realistic under different environmental conditions such as different irradiance and temperature levels. In addition, in the same simulation program, the behaviour of the plant when facing different types of grid failures is addressed.
