dc.description.abstractDevelopment of miRNA optical biosensors for disease diagnosis and monitoring has acquired relevance in recent years, due to the clinical importance of miRNA and the inherent advantages of optical sensors. Here, we present the utilization of a fiber optic sensor based on Lossy Mode Resonance (LMR) for the detection of miRNA hsa-miR-223, a promising biomarker for the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA).en
