El impacto de la infraestructura social para fomentar la interculturalidad en Cascante

Abstract

En los últimos años España ha pasado de ser un país emisor a un país receptor de población. Este aumento de la diversidad en los territorios del Estado hace necesario encontrar formulas para mejorar la convivencia y favorecer la integración de las personas migrantes. El medio rural también ha presenciado el impacto de esta llegada de población, siendo lugares mucho más dinámicos y cosmopolitas en comparación con los estereotipos totalmente contrarios que tradicionalmente tienen adscritos. En el contexto navarro, la subcomarca de La Ribera es una de las zonas con mayor porcentaje de migración, sobre todo, de origen magrebí, siendo necesario comenzar a plantear políticas de integración. En esta investigación se ha tratado de analizar cómo es la interacción de la población magrebí y autóctona en los espacios públicos del pueblo y si hay una infraestructura social sólida que permita generar contactos y relaciones entre personas de ambos grupos.

In recent years, Spain has gone from being an emitting country to a receiving country. This increase in diversity in the territories of the State makes it necessary to find formulas to improve coexistence and favor the integration of migrants. The rural environment has also witnessed the impact of this arrival of population, being much more dynamic and cosmopolitan places in comparison with the totally opposite stereotypes traditionally attached to them. In the context of Navarre, the sub region of La Ribera is one of the areas with the highest percentage of migration, especially of North African origin, and it is necessary to start planning integration policies. In this research we have tried to analyze the interaction of the Maghrebi and native population in the public spaces of the town and if there is a solid social infrastructure that allows to generate contacts and relationships between people of both groups.
